Later than planned but great timing, TC’s been over and plumbed in the boiler – Worcester Greenstar Danesmoor Utility 25/32 – we’ll see how that goes. A tidy unit, with the majority of additional components – expansion vessels, zone valves, water tank – installed in one of the loft rooms (now a plant room / plant corner).

The vent goes left and out to avoid the pantry window. Copper to and from the tank, JG speedfit the rest of the way.

Something ‘new’ on the plumbing front (or, just haven’t seen this before):-

REMS radial pressing tongs – just crimp and go :-

First electrical fix for the under floor heating zones, there’s 8 of them. Everything crossed the sketchy notes correctly identify which loop is for which zone.

A couple of days later

S-Plan plus wiring – Two radiator zones, hot water and underfloor heating. Heatmiser controls including NeoStat v2 – 240v . Again, the hammer and chisel demonstrate that they should have been designed in on day one.
