The rain has finally stopped and yet, we wish it hadn’t (read on). The gable end of the old building needs to be cleaned, so out with the old pointing, before sandblasting (Addblast contracts)

Taking into account the thickness of the wall and the rate of decay, there’s a couple of years, at least, left in it before major ‘surgery’ required:-

Pointing out, time for a blast (about the rain – ‘damping down’ would have come in handy, just ask the neighbours)
