Check before mounting

A reasonable motto for many things in life.

You know it’s time to call it a day when your perfectly mounted and swinging door… overlaps.

Some days later, drawer assembly:-

Populate the island

And a drawer within a drawer, very funky

Unlock the front and add the rubber ‘thing’

Add into the unit

Add the hinge mounts to the cabinets (making sure you get them the right way round!)

Fit the door hinges and hang, and repeat, and repeat, and repeat (enough?). We’ll have a day adjusting once the ‘lid’ is on.

We’re swapping a couple of the 300’s for a 600 – reason? We’d gone fully symmetrical in the original design (nice work Rachael) but the boiler vent extended further into the kitchen, from the pantry, than we’d anticipated. The ovens are now both on the left, leaving us with an option to install a bigger larder cupboard.

While we wait for that, throw in a couple of radiators. “Why?” you may ask, you may well ask …
