Clad All Over (part 2)

Clad All Over (part 2)

We’re revisiting this post and the Dave Clark Five tune – once it’s with you, it will stick again (try not to clap, again).

And yes, the cladding is all on. Just looking for a break in the weather to coat with Osmo UV protection oil – takes a while to dry.

As an aside, what’s with all the mushrooms? Seem to be growing for fun at the moment.

A few other jobs also underway, including outside lights. We’ll try switching them with a Sonoff (TH16), flashed with Tasmota (more of that some other time).

Needed to pull a cable down the previously installed cable duct, but just wouldn’t go. Time to dig.

Little chance of pulling anything through / round that (possible over enthusiastic digger action)

Chop, repair, start again.

One consistency is the British summer’s inconsistency, with the recent rains making the surrounding countryside ever greener.

And with that tentative link to the Emerald Isle (very tentative), we send our love and best wishes to Mike and Marie for their move to Ireland. May the welcome there be as warm as it always was to their home.
