Fury

A week after Tyson owned every part of one of the biggest heavyweight fights in ages, we’re longing for an ounce of his courage, tenacity, skill and stamina to keep the build moving. Specifically the link.

Lostock Hall Glass finally delivered the parts we’d been waiting for and the front started to take shape.

Then came the back.

Should, perhaps, have paid more attention when these things were unwrapped and put into position.

Anyone spotted the issue yet? Every, yes every, other frame has the beads on the inside, these two don’t.

The door looks right, beads on the inside:-

There are technologies that can make external beads secure, windows and doors that have beads that simply cannot be removed without removing an internal wedge gasket first.

These are not that type (full stop).

We’re expected to secure them with the usual rubber seal. A simple task, as would be removing it, and the glass, if we, or anyone else, is looking to gain silent, straight forward access to the house sometime in the future.

Back to LHG this morning, who’ve now asked to have the issue put in writing, even though they’d admitted questioning the bead position themselves when they took delivery.

In need of distractions / diversions / punch bag for the rest of the weekend – a ‘mysterious’ object has been delivered (more of that at a later date).

We’re also getting hot water when the heating is on, the culprit is a faulty zone valve. Head replaced.
