Perfection?
“The action or process of improving something until it is faultless.”
In truth, the grouting job on the kitchen floor didn’t look up to scratch, so it’s been done again, “grout, sleep, repeat” (enough is enough Nigella, please trend something new).
Ok, the photographs don’t make it look a great deal different, but it really is.
The paving at the front also got pointed, late one night
Architrave and skirting going on in the kitchen (with the grout now dry, again).
And an early Christmas present, Andy (not the broken one) dropped the stairs off. Line Tom up for fitting next week.
The fridge and freezer get the lower part of the door and aligned, and aligned, and aligned (it took a while)
And tonight’s job? Fitting the long awaited vent. Take care with the vertical sections, the retaining tabs ping off across the floor, never to return, as soon as you look at them – something of a relief when we didn’t need all the sections.
Will need to trim more off the cabinet
In goes the hob (not forgetting the gaskets between the vent sections.
And connect the two parts with the filter section
Oh, and check the lower drawer still fits! All good.
