There was a plan

The proposed structure left an awkward space above the planned lounge, bedroom, bathroom and utility. Back to planning for an increase in roof height of 1m, should be enough to make the space usable i.e. possible guest bedroom.

This, at the time, felt like a minor change, but was subject to the consultation process and associated time period.
